Two new interpretations of "Water Talks" from Amy Reid’s transportive Atlantic Rhythms debut, Isolated Bliss. Reid's original slowly weaves a sonic collage -- building an environment via layers of placid tones, sonic pads, and aquatic samples.

Genie's take on "Water Talks" begins with a nod to the original's layered soundscape. A breakneck, stuttering drum pattern propels the lushness forward while incorporating arpeggiation and chopped vocal samples. Graffititech's version detonates with breakneck club percussion, but zeroes in on the austere quality of Reid's original composition. The combination of melancholy chords and rapid-fire BPMS carves a rare experimental club music experience.
